The revolution will not be televised–but it could be visually mapped, laminated, overnighted, mounted on a wall, and used to ignite a movement once Julie Stuart gets involved.

Recognized in Harvard Business Review for her graphic facilitation work before anyone could agree on what to call it, Julie has visually facilitated high-stakes meetings for such clients as Accenture, GE Energy, the American Institute for Architects, and the Center for Disease Control. Part strategist, part business truth-teller, part idea taxonomist, part champion of insights, Julie combines the right questions with a few well-placed scribbles to envision what’s really possible for her clients–and to map out how to make what matters happen.

Years ago, when facing a choice between creativity, business, and world-changing, she chose all of the above, finding a new kind of art in bringing change agents’ ideas out of them. She’s never met a good cause she didn’t love. (Ask her about those 73 acres of trees in her hometown–free at last!)

With a Masters in Fine Art, an undergrad in political science and a background in teaching, public policy, journalism, non-profit management, and environmental science, Julie’s résumé has come to resemble one of her visual maps. To complete the picture, just add her three great passions: sailboats, ice skating and photography. It really is all connected, you see.

Tam (also known as willowing) is a mixed media artist, illustrator and online art teacher who loves being messy and is addicted to brayering paint. She is the creator and inventor of the epic year long mixed media art course Life Book! Her work can be described as mixed media folk art. It ranges from whimsy children’s illustrations to a more stylised fantasy type art. Her work often incorporates healing themes, uplifting messages and inspirational poetry. She is also a prolific art journaller and creates stuffed toys and art dolls when she has the time! Recently, digital creations have been calling her and she’s loving creating paintings in photoshop as well. She is based in Brighton in the UK with her lovely husband Andy and her magical children Elliot and Dylan. She’s been teaching online art workshops since 2008. Alma Sipilä is a singer, songwriter, lover, dancer, writer and self-proclaimed Wild Woman, living in in the big enough small town of Tampere, Finland. She spends the majority of her time engaged in the art and craft of songwriting, which she describes as: “taking the experiences of my life into the heart, and doing my best to bring out what is honest, beautiful and true about them through lyric and melody”.

On the other side of her professional life, she works as a therapist and support person for women healing from eating disorders. She believes that learning how to truly love ourselves is a life-long path, and the most precious endeavour we can ever take on.
