It’s the New Moon and that means here at Jamie Ridler Studios it’s time to start gathering your images and inspirations for this month’s Full Moon Dreamboard. One of the reasons I so enjoy this process is that it keeps us connected to the cycles of the moon herself and also to the turn of the seasons. Tuning into these global rhythms, we can feel the connection to one another, even across the hemispheres. I find it so reassuring to know that as some of us are heading into fall, some of us are welcoming spring.

For those of us approaching the Full Frost Moon, now is the time to deepen our dreams, growing powerful roots of support as we move into the colder months. Let’s choose to give our energy to the things that nourish our hearts and our lives, while releasing what no longer serves us. Let’s fill not only our dreamboards but also our calendars and lists with what we dream of.

Over the coming weeks, let your spirit guide you as you gather images. Be open to what shows up. Collect words, images, phrases that draw your attention. Let go of needing to know why. Perhaps new dreams are stirring, getting ready to be invited in to the New Year. Set aside some time to create your board and then come back and share on November 10th, the Full Frost Moon.

It’s the new moon, time to start gathering your supplies and setting your intentions, time to seek out the images that speak to you this month. Check your calendar and be sure to set aside creation time. Then come back here on October 12th to share your dreamboard under the Full Harvest Moon.

What harvest do you want to invite into your life? As you go about your preparations, ask yourself, “What would I like an abundance of?”

Whatever our dreams this month, let’s also take time to give thanks in our hearts for all the wishes and dreams that have moved ever closer, some even arriving for us to enjoy and celebrate! Every month at Jamie Ridler Studios we mark the New Moon as a time to start gathering ideas, inspirations and materials for our Full Moon Dreamboards. Whether you are new, join in every month or are an occasional dreamer, I want you to know you are welcome. On August 13th under the Full Sturgeon Moon, we will be sharing our dreams. Post your dreamboard on your blog or on Flickr and come here and share the link so that we can all see what each of us is dreaming.

Let’s think about the energy we’ll be experiencing under August’s Full Sturgeon Moon. The fish influence doesn’t mean that things are “fishy” but rather that there are shining, glimmering, messages just under the surface, in the waters of our intuition, and now is a beautiful time to notice them, to pay attention. This will be a powerful time to let our dreamboards speak to us, to let our inner guidance system choose the images so we can sit back and look at what’s stirring within.

Let’s start our gathering with the question, “Intuition, what insight do you have into my dreams?” Over the next while, as you pull together your images and supplies, hold this question lightly in your mind. And under the power of the Full Sturgeon Moon, we’ll see what you create and what your intuition answers.

As you gather your materials, know that the Full Buck Moon is a time for stepping into your power. Now is the time to set intentions for bold action and big dreams. Ask yourself, “What do I want to step into and create this month?”
