Circe’s Circle ~ Testimonials
Testimonial from Jessie Marianiello of Diary of a Self Portrait…
Jamie is just the type of person I needed in my life right now. She is not only extremely intelligent, but deeply intuitive as well. She is grounded, inspiring, receptive, energizing, and wonderful in just too many ways to count. Jamie challenges me to put myself out into the world in ways that I might not have thought of on my own. She has been like an angel on my shoulder reminding me when to acknowledge all that I have accomplished, when to rest, and when to give myself that extra nudge forward. Jamie helped me to visualize and make room for the woman that is my truest and happiest self.
I began Circe’s Circle just as I was starting to take the first steps in realizing my dream of becoming a full-time artist. Circe’s Circle has been a tremendous jumpstart in turning my artistic dreams into a reality. I will be forever thankful that Jamie became such an important person to me during this incredibly transformative time in my life.
Thank you, Jamie. Deeply. I have loved every minute of growing within the sacred space of Circe’s Circle.
Testimonial from Monica of One Hand Typing…
(transcript of the audio testimonial) My name is Monica, and I was in the initial group for Circe’s Circle with Jamie. I just wanted to call and say that it’s really one of the best things that I’ve ever done for myself and my creativity. When I joined the group, I had a very strong sense of the direction I wanted to go in, and as time went on, and I started to explore different directions, I realized that I needed to take more of an idea of my total vision than just stick to a specific plan.
And that’s the wonderful thing about the group. You can have a plan and Jamie will give you all the tools you need to put it in motion and to facilitate your idea and to really make it happen. But if you are like me and your idea starts to change kind of midway through the group, she also really helps with that, and she helps you set new goals and she helps you to figure out a new direction.
It was just wonderful to watch my group my group in particular, since it’s the only group I was in—It was wonderful to watch my group really grow and catch fire and change and start to get closer and closer to realizing their creative dreams. It was very inspirational and we all learned from each other. And, of course, we all learned from Jamie. She was a wonderful leader. I’m still working through her exercises, and I still feel like I’m learning from the group even though our sessions ended early in 2008 because I know that I can go back to what I’ve learned and I can still get new insights and a new sense of vision out of doing the exercises again and again.
I highly recommend that one really good way to make a commitment to your creativity and to just make a real, solid commitment to your dreams, I couldn’t recommend Circe’s Circle higher. Thank you.
Testimonial from Melba McMullin of An Eager Soul’s Journal…
(transcript of the audio testimonial) Hi. This is Melba McMullin, and I’m a creative blogger. I’ve been blogging for close to 4 years. And last year, in the beginning of January 2008, I took part in Jamie’s Circe’s Circle, and it was a really amazing experience being able to share, on a weekly basis, with the other women in the group as well as being led by Jamie. It was a really safe and comfortable environment. Jamie did an excellent job of keeping us on track and also posing some wonderful questions to us each week and doing some really interesting creative exercises that expanded our mind and made us think differently.
And a year later, even though the group is only for 3 months, a year later I’m still pondering some of those questions. It was helpful, even now, the things that she went over and the things that I learnt in the group. As well, I stayed connected with the other women in the group, which has been a wonderful thing. We had a blog. That was nice, to write to each other as well.
So, I highly recommend Circe’s Circle. If you have any questions, you can visit me at my blog, www.melbamcmullin.com, and I’d be happy to answer any. You can click on my email there.
Thanks and have a wonderful 2009. Bye.
