What a wonderful interview, Jamie! I sat and listened to it while I knitted and looked out onto the thick layer of snow that has covered everything here in the last few days. Just lovely.
I was really intrigued to hear Brene talk about her research and why/how she ended up researching her topic.Having gone through the phd process myself, I am endlessly fascinated about why we are drawn to the research that we commit to. I’m always asking people at conference why they study what they study – you always get the most amazing answers!

Dear Jamie,
I want to thank you for this wonderful contribution! You make my Tuesdays mornings a little more special :-)
I’m so grateful for your insight, positivity and open mind. Your guests are wonderful and there is always so much to learn.
Today’s podcast was especially meaningful to me. Just minutes before I listened to your interview and I had decided to finally publish my blog – after plenty of hesitation. I regretted it the moment I hit the “share” button :-) Then I listened to you and felt a huge sense of relief and connectedness. I loved the way you described how we allow perfectionism to get in the way of our pursuits and dreams. Thank you – you made my day!

I can’t believe it! I hit the submit button too early and now my comment is full of typos! I guess that’s a way to let go of perfectionism…!! So sorry!
Thank you for encouraging us to find our stories – and for offering a place to tell them! I really enjoyed this interview with Brene, and I agree with her about the work you are doing. Thank you for encouraging us to find our stories – and for offering a place to tell them! I am so grateful I found you in my journey in the blogosphere. XO, L
Dear Jamie: Thank you for taking the time to conduct this interview. I really enjoyed listening to it. I found my reaction repeatedly to much of what Brene Brown said to be the thought “That’s exactly how I feel.” I felt like someone finally put into words out loud the thoughts I carry around daily deep inside. I look forward to reading Brene’s new book.
