What a fantastic interview! I loved hearing her story and how the totem of mermaid (very cool) came to her twice. I think it is important to insulate ourselves when we are being creative and just focus on our process, on our work and not compare. When we compare our inner bullies have a field day. Way to go!

Mccabe has inspired me and my daughter and many of our friends. With Mccabe as our Warrior leader, we have experienced the joy of expressing ourselves in art without judgment. She has enabled us to connect our hearts with our art and we have created meaningful and beautiful projects that build our self esteem and affirm who we are. I think she does this unconsciously…it isn’t contrived…this is truly her art. And now she does this via video, so, many, many others can have this experience!
