Yayayayay! I love this post! I love hearing about your Saturday morning adventures and seeing them too and that sign truly cracks me up. I wonder where that lake came from thought???!!!

Awesome post Jamie, loved it. Makes me miss you and Toronto, but in a good way. Hugs!

I love your "Beaches" area--beautiful; and the kite looks awesome, although a bit intimidating. We have "built in" adventures living on the boat--walking around the harbor, checking out the local farmer's market and art fairs, kayaking the harbor, sailing, and when we want something different we go to the neighboring mountains or into the city. I love checking out different places, and foods:)

This is what I like about your adventure: that you are totally in love with your city. Indeed, it is such a unique and happy place. I have to learn about the beaches. I also like the rambling quality of the day. I'm certain that it helps one focus in the present, in what IS, instead of what we think there is.

Jamie, I'm so happy. I am with computer and Internet service. I'm back in the game! I'll be visiting often now.

Love your adventure :)

Our adventures generally center around going to museums these days - when husband and i lived in NYC, we went exploring a lot, but there it was more long walks around older parts of the city, ethnic grocery stores, yummy foods. Here in Washington, DC it's definitely more of an emphasis on museums, though we are planning an adventure to the suburbs for next weekend. It sounds counter-intuitive, but most of the ethnic grocery stores and restaurants are far out in teh suburbs here. And of course we will have to hit a couple of craft stores :)

This is lovely, Jamie. Thanks for sharing it.

We adventure differently because our son who is 8 is usually along with us. This week we're going to a high school football game!
