I love to feature members of the Jamie Ridler Studios community and celebrate the light they shine in the world. Today, the beautiful Kristin Milton, aka Kazari, from On the End of My Rope. Jamie.

What are you creating in the world?
I don’t think I have a big creative vision for my life. I’m trying to create a life I love and a career in writing, not to mention the small life growing behind my bellybutton right now.
I believe my biggest creative talent is creating connections. I love teasing out the associations between things that seem unrelated, and I love drawing people’s attention to the little things that are really so important.
How has Wishcasting helped?
Wishcasting is wonderful. It’s a time for me to take a break from busy-ness, and consult my heart about the things going on in my life. It’s a simple, whimsical way to take stock, and remind myself of the directions I wish to be travelling. It’s also a gentle way to invite abundance into my life.
For me, the best bit is after the wishing when I get to see all the other wishes. Wishcasting has created a very supportive, diverse community of creative spirits, and I love to see what they are up to. Some of my fellow wishcasters are becoming wonderful blog-friends.
What have you learned about yourself through Wishcasting?
I think I have become more playful in my thinking about the future. I’ve learnt that it’s ok to wish for manicures and sparkly things as well as better health and stronger fingers. I’ve also realised that while I shy away from big picture thinking like Life Goals and Strategies, I’m much more comfortable embracing small wishes and projects. And secretly I think they’ll get me to an equally wonderful place…
What would you like to celebrate?
Everything! It’s the details of our lives that make them worth living, if we remember to pay attention. It could be the view out the bus window, the bird in the garden, the joke on the radio or your morning cup of tea. My personal favourites are over-talkative shop assistants, and the weird stuff people leave by the roadside.
But today, particularly, I’d like to celebrate the Wishcasting community and Jamie for starting it all. Imagine if the whole world sat down each week and made a wish together!
