Full Moon Dreamboard: The Full Wolf Moon

Note: If you’re looking for Wishcasting, you’ll find it in the post below. Maybe this week’s wish will inspire you to make your first dreamboard or even to step into A Year of Dreams. Let the creative spark of your wishes deepen and become the roots of your dreams.

What are you dreaming of under this Full Wolf Moon? The wolf reminds us to connect to our hunger, to notice what desires are calling for our attention. Our dreamboards can help us bring these desires to light and to being! Once you have filled your board with wishes and dreams, it’s time to connect to the energy of Cancer, which the moon appears in today. This is an invitation to not just notice our desires but to begin the important work of tending them, stepping into what we can do to honour what we know of our dreams.

If you’d like to connect to your dreams in a powerful way this year and to tend them in a creative, supportive community, consider not only participating here online but also becoming a part of A Year of Dreams. Every month we meet on a teleconference line for a dreamboard circle. This month we connected to our hearts through a powerful meditation that brought us face to face with the power of the wolf. On our Ning site we then have the opportunity to celebrate manifestations, set intentions and share our dreams in community. We’ve just begun and I hope you’ll join us there. (Registration works out to only $20/month!)

Just as the wolves howl in community, let’s share our desires under this powerful moon and set the tone for an amazing year!

Jamie, it was really fun to be part of the Year of Dreams telecircle. I love the idea of continuing to journal with the board, and I look forward to new discoveries as I continue to contemplate this set of dreams. Thanks so much!

The Full Wolf Moon feels primal to me. And I feel like my dreamboard reached into those core dreams that I sometimes hold back. Tonight, they are out and I feel WILD!

I really enjoyed the telecircle, and am already learning things about myself I wasn’t fully aware of! Can’t wait for next month…

As I mentioned on Facebook this month (well the last few actually) my dreamboards have almost taken a turn towards a more negative aspect or they don’t seem so magical to me. I think instead they have become more of a “vent” board or “healing” board…someplace I guess I seem to go to to air out my feelings I keep bottled up inside? I don’t even know anymore. I am more than disillusioned lately and I think that has a lot to do with it. My belief in dreams has diminished considerably…at least as far as they concern me and me and my son even…and this bothers me tremendously. I have an almost apathetic attitude and yet I also care so much sometimes I just want to scream and chew everything up standing in my way. WOLF MOON was so appropriate for me because I feel like a wolf on an attack…a prowl….wanting to devour all the crap out of my life and heart and head and spirit. So anyway….enough said.

Good morning everyone! I’m so sorry i wasn’t able to participate in the telecircle conversation on Sunday – though I did listen to the recording last night. (Jo Jo, your Spirit came right through the line – it was so beautiful!)

Jamie, your starting meditation was powerful. And I think it allowed my Spirit to actually come out and speak to me ~ for the Board I created is not the one I expected to see.

You mentioned that Dreamboarding is a process of Intention and Intuition. I have fully embraced the Intuition aspect of this process and love how this exercise creates space for my Spirit to speak to me ~ without first having to maneuver through the barriers my Mind can put up along the way.

I’m not yet at the process of actually ‘asking’ for anything. A good friend of mine once shared that she believes I’m afraid to ~ because I don’t want to experience the disappointment of potentially going ‘unheard’ – and thus, enforcing an internal belief that I am Unworthy. I suspect she’s right. So I’m most grateful that there was a gateway that allowed me entrance into the process until I’m confident/courageous enough to actually identify and state with intent the desires I hold most dear.

Before listening to the recording ~ I thought we’d be ‘dreaming’ about what we’re hungering for, and my mind took off with that. Instead, my Spirit shared a deep yearning within me – and working with this realization in the energy of the Wolf Moon, I’m excited to be building my 2011 on what will hopefully be a more stable platform.

(I’m participating in “A Year of Dreams” with Jamie and beautiful Spirits from around the world. This group is supportive, creative, and their hearts are Open. If you’ve been wondering what this experience might be like, please consider joining us for next month’s session ~ and if it feels like Home, hang around for the whole year!)

I have mine over my bed and I’m still excited about some of the insights it gave me. The most significant was the importance of “home” to me, and that home can be anywhere, as long as I invest in my surroundings. That gives me enormous freedom.

Ahhh! I must make time (note to self *MAKE TIME) to get back to participating in these dreamboards. I absolutely love what you’ve all accomplished here.
I am doing a little ritual with my hatchling tonight if you want to stop by my blog to see the pics!
Happy blessed full moon dreaming everyone|!

Lovely dreamboard Jamie! I know that all your wishes will come true :-)

I’m really enjoying participating in A Year of Dream and on here. This is exactly what I need to keep living intentionally. Thank you Jamie!

Beautiful dream board, Jamie. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Like Ginette, I too am enjoying A Year of Dreams. I see so many doors and possibilities opening up already as a result of the workshops and my dream board. So exciting!

I didn’t think I would be able to find time to make a dreamboard today, but something deep inside me just insisted!

Hi Jamie

Hope to join you for a telecircle, but still enjoyed pasting up my dreamboard!

It’s great to see everyone else’s boards too (so different!) – the process isn’t always the easiest, but loving the light and the dark is always so clear at this time of year!
Love to everyone
Angel

Making a dreamboard this month didn’t come as easily as it usually does, but it finally came through. Thank you for hosting this, as always, and for suggestions of things to think about for each moon. :)
