Full Moon Dreamboards: The Full Buck Moon

by Jamie Ridler on July 25, 2010

in Develop a Practice,Discover Yourself,Full Moon Dreamboards

There’s such gorgeous energy happening under this Full Buck Moon! The moon is in Aquarius so we have an invitation to be expansive in our dreams, to let them reach far and wide, to touch the world around us, to share our hopes with humanity. And then the Full Buck moon invites us to take some action on our dreams, to assert our presence in the world, to take a stand and say, “Here I am! Here is what I’m dreaming!” Sharing your dreams here is a great way to start!

On this month’s new moon, I shared my belief that just by taking the time to dream, we’re making the world a better place, “one filled with more magic, more promise, more hope and more resources.” I hope you’ll join me in dreaming today and every month with Full Moon Dreamboards. It’s a deliciously creative way to check in with your spirit and get a picture of your dreams.

I look forward to seeing what you’re dreaming about this month! When you look at your dreamboard, is there an action it’s asking you to take? I bet there’s many! Will you answer the invitation? What will you step into this month?

How gorgeous is that image?! Wow Jamie, I love it! You are so creative and artistic, I love just seeing the graphics you make.

Alas, life continues to be absolute insanity here so I could make a dreamboard this month. I hope next month will be less chaotic. I miss my creative spiritual time.

Thank you so much, Suzie. I’m sorry you can’t take part this month – but know that I’m always sending loving energy towards your dreams!

Hi I came across your blog from ascending butterfly….I will have to mess around and create my dreamboard. I had a lot happen this week, and a lot of intuition come through this week.

Jamie Ridler July 25, 2010 at 3:05 pm

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here :) With the energy you’re describing, it seems very synchronous! I’ll look forward to seeing what you create!

Thank you for inspiring me to create a dreamboard. I haven’t done this in years and it’s time for an update!
I sure could use some inspiration.

I’m so glad! It must be just the right time – I wonder what gorgeous dreams you’re going to get up to!

Beautiful! This really is a time for me “to take some action on my dreams” by becoming active with my dreams. See you in the stars.

Jamie Ridler July 25, 2010 at 3:08 pm

Wonderful! Dreamboards really are a powerful tool for creating inspired actions. Spend some time at the beginning of each day and ask yourself, “what could I do today to honour my dreams?” You’ll be on your way!

I am so happy that I promised myself this month to do this with everyone! MAY all YOUR dreams come to you!!!

Jamie Ridler July 25, 2010 at 3:07 pm

Yay!! I’m so glad you joined in.

(You know, I just wrote this week about how important it is to keep your promises to yourself – yay you!)

And, early this morning I had one moment of saying…..No, I want to do something else. Then, I reminded myself that THIS IS FOR ME!!!
Jamie, you inspire me everyday – THANK YOU!!!

Wonderful! I’m so glad you figured it out. I’m on the way to check out your dreams!

I took the time to dream again and you’re right the magic came out to play! I also extended the experience to another and she felt it too!

Thank you Jamie for the inspiration.

Jamie Ridler July 25, 2010 at 3:07 pm

You are so welcome. I love hearing that. Here’s to playing with magic :)

Gina July 25, 2010 at 6:35 pm

Hi Jamie! I wasn’t going to do a dreamboard, but the full moon got to me last night, and then I saw Marilyn’s creation, using polyvore, so I tried it too. Fun! Maybe she will share her secret of how to embed it on the blog. Thanks again for giving us this opportunity to create and share!

Googlover/keishua July 25, 2010 at 7:29 pm

thought I would give it a gander. I like the polyvore program a lot.

I was beginning to wonder if I was going to have one this month, but a mini-artist date fixed that! I remembered your post earlier this week about self-trust (while I was on my mini-artist date), and doing the things we promise ourselves. I’d been promising myself a mini-artist date, along with several other things that are on my to-do list for this coming week. (Taking action, following my heart. ;))

I hope you’re having a wonderful full moon!

I so enjoy this process and LOVED viewing the other dream boards. ALL ARE AMAZING! I share my as a way of putting it out to the universe!! Thank you for making this space available!! Off to hopefully capture a few photos of tonight’s full moon!

Joanna Paterson July 26, 2010 at 3:25 am

Hi Jamie, thanks for the invitation and inspiration, once again. I didn’t have many images to play with this month, which coincided with a week when I’d been experimenting with found poetry / text collage poetry… so I decided to go for a dreamboard poem. Very pleased with the result!

Jackie Walker July 26, 2010 at 7:46 am

Hi Jamie, I’ve been playing with Mosaic Maker’s free download, and although many of the images have ended up being overlapped, the joy is I know what’s beneath them! This is the first time I’ve put images together, I’ve used single images and I’ve used single words but have now overcome my own limitations to try something different! The attention and intention create their own magic, don’t they!

Yolanda July 26, 2010 at 7:10 pm

I made my dream board by setting everything up and taking a photo and printing it. I’m not sure what it means quiet yet but i know it does represent my dreams my passions spirituality heart. Thank you so much for this.

I sent you the link to the collage I did on polyvore, I love that website. I am able to do a quick collage before heading in to work, then while I am riding my bike into work, I glance up at that gorgeous full moon and run over my intentions for the month.

This is my first time sharing a dreamboard, but I’ve been creating these and following for a while.
