Lots going on today! We’re sharing our Full Moon Dreamboards and Tuesdays are Creative Living with Jamie podcast days! Click here for quick access to today’s other post and listen to my interview with the inspiring Elizabeth MacCrellish, the founder of Squam Art Workshops!
And if you’re here for Full Moon Dreamboards, here we are under the Full Sturgeon Moon in Pisces! On this month’s New Moon, I invited you to let your intuition play a big part in helping you gather your images and consider the question, “How can I shine?” I can’t wait to come visit and see what’s showing up in your dreams! And you know, now is not only a great time to pay attention to the dreams that are surfacing on your board, but also the ones that are appearing in your sleep-time.
This is a deeply intuitive time. What messages are stirring and asking to be seen?
NEXT LIVE EVENT: The date for the next in-person Full Moon Dreamboard Circle in Toronto has been set. We’ll be creating together on Sunday, September 19th from 1:00 – 4:00 in preparation for the Full Corn Moon. Registration will start on September 1st. You can find out more here. I’ve decided that I will be leading two live circles a year: one in September and one in January. I hope you’ll join me.

Life got a bit dull this Summer. As is the natural rhythm of things, Death came knocking too close to home. I chose to settle into the grief and honor its presence in my life. But as I sat down to my dreamboard, I realized it was time again to shine. My dreamboard is about a national exam I will be taking sometime this year. I intend to approach it with grace and gratitude rather than with fear as I might have done years before. I like to shine.
Rae
Oh, Rae, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart is with you. How beautiful that you gave yourself the time to honour your grief. I’m sending you lots of love and energy as you shift into your time to shine!
After months of *meaning* to do a Full Moon Dreamboard and *not* doing one….I FINALLY DID IT! YAY!
Because it was such a last-minute decision, and because I had no source of magazines to rip up (sadly), my dreamboard was done completely using Google Image search. But I LOVE it. I don’t know what it all means, but I LOVE it. LOVELOVELOVE.
Wonder-full!! What delicious and delightful news. I can’t wait to stop by and see what you’ve created and what you are dreaming of!
Hi Jamie
I have been doing these collages for over a year and using your Soul Reflections workshops since December. I finally got back to my blog and can share my collages again…your workshop really made a difference – I even get friends over and we do the boards together sometimes. Fiona x
How delightful!! I’m so glad that Soul Reflections has been helpful and just so excited to imagine you and some friends creating and dreaming together! ((hugs))
my dreamboard was a shared experience this month—craft time with a friend—and it was TRULY a treat! thanks for hosting these, jamie: it brought a solid joy and reflective space for both of us! the story/images are up on my blog! xoxox
Jamie, thanks for the invitation again :-) I had a feeling this month I wanted to express the shift I need to make inside rather than looking outside. It’s a feeling of allowing myself to be softer, trusting, to let go of trying to will something into place, and instead allow things to just be… I found all the images I needed in my own photostream on Flickr, nearly all of flowers (nearly all the lessons I ever need to learn are found in flowers!)
Jamie,
I can’t begin to tell ya how good I feel right now! I kept a promise to myself and I’m thrilled beyond belief. This is the very first dreamboard I ever created and I’m sure not my last. Thanks for always being there for me to read and share in on the many adventures. I truly an thanksful for ya.
Love & Hugs, Poe
I just finished gluing everything down on mine. I like what I’m seeing. :)
And how appropriate is it that the Moon is in Pisces (a water sign represented by fish) on the Full Sturgeon Moon?
Off to post!
*Dashes into the room, shoes squealing as I skid to a stop*
I made it!
These dreamboards never stop surprising me… Each moon seems to present a new set of messages, and there’s a lightness I’ve never seen in my boards before. I’m looking forward to seeing how this moon unfolds…
Love doing dreamboards and seeing what everyone comes up with. I look forward to each new moon now. Thanks Jamie and happy podaversary!
I really, really wanted to do this by collage — cutting, pasting, gluing, getting messy. But I looked into my digital photography archive (where I haven’t been in months) and things went in a direction I didn’t expect. Just like in a dream. Going off to see that moon now. Thanks, Jamie!
What beautiful energy everyone is bringing to the circle this full moon! What a joy to see all the different ways that we can create our dreamboards – and create our dreams! It’s such a reminder that we are unique and brilliant stars – each with our own way. And that our way shifts and flows with the times, our moods, our schedules, the moment – but still, we can always be dreaming!
Sending big love to all of our dreams!
I did have it ready the night before and now it’s a day late … hmm!! I’m not quite sure of some of my images this month, and I’m trusting they’ll make themselves obvious to me as the days pass. And what a full moon it was – I’m looking forward to reporting in a month’s time (not rushing to it of course!) Thank you x
I always find that as I live with my dreamboard, it reveals itself more and more. Enjoy the journey!
Finished mine up about 2 am…..with that FULL MOON streaming into my studio.
THANKS Jamie & all the others for inspiring me each month!
How beautiful to literally create your board by the light of the full moon! Wonderful!
Yeah – I did it! Thanks for the late in the day facebook inspiration Jamie! I ended up creating a ‘dreamboard’ in my journal last night on a page I had previously painted. I was so tired – but ended up having a great time. And I got up this morning early and enjoyed the beautiful full moon!
I made one with Polyvore this time. I miss the tactical collage, but it didn’t work out. Nevertheless, some interesting subconscious messages arose!
This is the first time I’m trying the moon dreamboard. I figure, why not? It’ll get the creative juices started and hopefully get me back to creative thinking again.
Just beginning! Thanks!
Just beginning! Thank you!
beautiful work and very inspiring! it’s really great to view tonight since my home in the midwest is under a blizzard warning and may reach up to 20″ of show in the next 36 hours.
thank you!
