So, remember the other day when I saw the interloper and left him some crunchies? The next day I was in the kitchen getting a second cup of coffee and saw the little boo walking ever so quickly along my fence. I risked opening the back door, thinking he was just going to bolt when he heard the sound, but instead he walked right over and plunked himself by the door. I dutifully poured some crunchies into a bowl and left them outside. He devoured them in moments and then hung out for a while before casually sauntering away.
Wow. I’m stunned. And thrilled.
I wonder what will happen next.

Oh how lovely…such a sweet looking kitty too.
Thanks so much for sharing these stories about your interloper. I too was heartbroken, for you and him, when I read previous stories. As an avid lover of all animals myself I feel your need to help him. I get to live this story through you–and him. I can’t wait for the next instalment! Ceanne
I just knew he’d be back! Sooooo happy for him and for you. Hugs and blessings your way, ~diana (lilyweeds)
Such a handsome little guy! He’s looking sooo much more relaxed already. Beautifully done Jamie xx
Yay for you! I’ve had my own interlopers this week… http://lettingthewordsescape.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-patience-can-bring.html
Yay! I knew he would come back – how could he resist you and your sweet generosity & love!
This beautiful baby clearly needs a home and has chosen you. We’ve had one (all black also) for ten years now that started the same way. She is now a very beloved part of our family, even though she has retained a healthy dose of her wild ways :-) I’m telling you, black kitties are the best :-)
I knew he would be back too!! :) Made me smile–and I needed it!
Yay! I’m so pleased he’s come back. Loving the lessons he’s teaching! Softly, softly, befriendy kitty (sorry, but catchy monkey really didn’t feel appropriate!) x
