My Full Blue Moon Dreamboard

If you had told me that I would ever have the words “slow and steady” on a dreamboard, I wouldn’t have believed you! But my words for next year, inspired by the wonderful Laura Howard West or “Grow with Grace”. And those savoury-looking parsnips remind me that there is a health-full, vibrant, loving way to grow and develop that provides rich, delicious sustenance. In a gentler spirit too, this time I chose a lovely, little bird, the kind I see outside my window every day, instead of the falcons and hawks that I favour.

There’s no doubt I’m yearning for some ease and revitalization. It’s been a rich, full, magical year but also one filled with challenges and demands. I’m amazed when I look back on all that’s been accomplished from a renovated kitchen to a renovated website, from Your Creative Spark to Soul Reflections. And there have been many challenges throughout the year too, particularly the loss of my mother-in-law and recently a sudden illness for my honey, which led us to an overnight visit to Emergency. But we’re together, we’re loved and we’re hopeful about 2010. In my dreamboard I see my wishes for the New Year as well as my acknowledged need for rest and ease.

I made a little video of my dreamboards from 2009. It’s amazing to see the trends, developments and constants. One revelation was I thought that red was a pretty new addition to my dreamboards this fall, but in fact, red has been with me always. Fascinating!

May the magic of the Full Blue Moon ignite the power of your dreams as we cross the threshold to a brand new year. May 2010 be full of love, light, spirit and community. May your creativity reach new heights and fill your heart and the world with joy.

Namaste,

Jamie

I’m sorry 2009 has had some really sad and trying times for you. I hope your darling is better now?!

You’ve created so much and been so busy in 2009, no wonder you seek a slow and steady 2010. May your New Year be healthy and gentle. I wish you a wondrous and peaceful new year!

GROW WITH GRACE…. oh, I love that. Many blessings to you as you step into a year of slowing down, savoring, and no doubt, powerful micro-movements! :)

Gorgeous! I love the phrase “grow with grace” and that “be love” and “slow and steady” show up in your dreamboard. Also the image of the woman by the sea jumps out at me as being powerful.

I hope this new year brings you and yours health, prosperity, and happiness! ((Hugs))

Thank you for blessing all of us with your time and energy. Rest is a good thing and I am glad you know when to slow down. As I used all of my energy up. in 2005. And still recovering physically. But mentally I fly high. And you are a part of the energy. As the Wtj journey has filled me with bliss.
Big hug take care of both you and hubby.

Jamie,
Beautiful! And I love the song with your slide show:)
“Grow with Grace”–perfect…may you find the healing, rest, peace, lessons in the manner you can best receive…Lots of good energy to you:)
Thank you so very much for all that you share here. I’ve only recently discovered your blog, but the avenues you’ve opened up through your dream boards, wishcasting, and interviews have been amazing for me. And now my son would like to participate with dreamboards as well. What you provide is wondrous and amazing. Thank you. Truly.

Oh Jamie, it has been such a hard year, I know. I really hope that life is just a little tad less intense and drama-filled when it comes to loved ones and illness and home decorating projects.

Your dreamboards are absolutely stunning. You have inspired me to commit to making one every month this year so I can do a slide next year, yours was so fantastic. And I love Hem! Thank you for introducing me to them all those years ago too, gotta get that on my iPod.

There is a grounding quality to this Dreamboard that comes through in the images, colors and words, may it be so. I hope your husband is feeling better.
May your 2010 be filled with all you wish and dream for. Thanks for always inspiring others even in the midst of turmoil.
