This week has been unbelievably full of delights! I had the joy of a wardrobe infusion. I took myself out early so it was blissfully quiet and I found this whole range of delicious sophisticated colours that I’ve been waiting for! And I just love that I’ve got staples like a white tank top and a black tank top that are covered in sequins!
Like, this is my white tank top – how cool is that!
One of the highlights of the week was being a backup dancer on a photo shoot for my dear friend Nia instructor extraordinaire Jennifer Hicks. Here she is looking all beautiful!
After the shoot, Jenn delighted us with beautiful gifts, friendship flowers for a windowsill garden! You might recognize the fabulous Danette Relic who is assisting with The Happy Book adventure, and also Chris Kay Fraser. Both of these awesome women have been guests on Creative Living with Jamie.
This week I also received a wonderful gift from creative dynamo Kathryn Antyr, who is also a part of The Happy Book adventure! Gosh, it really makes me happy to open up my mailbox and find wonderful treats inside! This is Kathryn’s very first product and it’s beautiful – a friendship circle pin. Thank you so much, Kathryn, for this gift of friendship. You are a gift!
And as I took myself for a walk through a park by the beach, I was able to enjoy two of my very favourite delights – fresh-cut grass and bare feet. What a joy! The grass was so soft. I walked slowly to enjoy every moment of contact with the precious earth and her new buzz cut, hehe.

Those colors are fabulous; dusty and understated and elegant. I like natural tones in my wardrobe, too. That tank top looks interesting, I would love to see it modeled. I’ve always wanted to go to the Kripalu center. Have a great time!
What a beautiful list of happiness! And I agree, that tank is so cool. My main happiness this week was that I finally got a chance to get outside and really start enjoying the summer.

It does feel wonderful connecting with the earth through soft, cool, freshly mown grass. Gina asked the question on her happy post earlier. “What is your favourite summer pleasure”, this must be among them.
Your wardrobe colours are ones I often choose for my palette, you have good taste!

Ooh I can feel that grass. I’ve been helping my boyfriend move in today – I ache so much from lugging furniture and boxes, I would love to cool my feet down on some fresh grass. You’ll never guess what (and I worry for speaking too soon), but here in the UK my lawns are dried out and yellow. Yes, that’s right. In the country of rain, we have hardly seen any for the past few months – almost unheard of!!
