November’s New Moon

I’m always amazed and inspired by synchronicities, rhythms and connections. One of the reasons I so enjoy Full Moon Dreamboards is the way the process keeps us connected to the cycles of the moon herself and also to the turn of the seasons. Even when we’re in different hemispheres, we can feel the connection to one another and the significance of nature’s shifts on our dreams and in our lives.

This new moon we’re starting to cast our eyes toward December 2nd’s Full Cold Moon. And just around the corner is the brand new year, full of promise and hope. And what’s truly amazing is we have a full moon on December 31st – surely a powerful blessing for what we can dream up in the New Year!

Now is a great time to prepare the way by clearing and completing, getting ready for what you’re going to invite in during the year to come.  In fact, my sister Suzie is leading a Night of Hecate ritual today, which will help with doing exactly that. And with this new moon being in Scorpio, let’s turn to our intuition as we gather our inspirations for the coming Full Cold Moon. Over the coming weeks, let your spirit guide you as you gather images. Be open to what shows up. Collect words, images, phrases that draw your attention, even if you don’t know why. Let go of needing to know. See what shows up and asks for your attention. Perhaps new dreams are stirring, getting ready to be invited in to the New Year.

I’ll look forward to launching our dreamboards to the Full Cold Moon with you on December 2nd.

It is so very cool how things come together isn’t it Jamie? I love that! I think this month I will definitely let my intuition really go this month for dreamboarding like I did at your workshop in October. As much as that was unnerving, it really shook me to my core and I think was part of why and how I let go of what has felt like a curse this Halloween. Thank you so much for that! So one of the things I am doing today other than picking up supplies for tonight is looking at magazines and seeing what calls to me for my dreamboard this month. Thanks Jamie! Blessed new moon to you and everyone.

Two full moons in one month. That seems auspicious. And creating dreamboards this time of year seems just the thing. Looking forward to joining in this tradition! -Cairene

I actually squeed when I saw the 12/31 full moon. I already have the primary image for the 12/2 board; it precisely depicts what I want to manifest as I “keep winter” this year and going into 2010.

Back to cleaning now!
