It’s the new moon, so time for a reminder to start preparing for your Full Moon Dreamboard on November 2nd. Pick up a few magazines or gather some old ones together. Keep your eyes open for the next couple of week and collect things that catch your eye – postcards, ads, shared Flickr photos. If you’re creating a physical version, make sure you have supplies (posterboard or something to put the images on, glue stick, scissors). Set aside some time for creation and make sure you’ve got lots of tea on-hand.
We’re moving towards the Full Frost Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s a time when winter starts to let us know she’s coming but gives us time to prepare for the season ahead. What do you want to bring with you into this final quarter of the year? If you set intentions for 2009, is it time to renew them, to infuse a final burst of energy into making those dreams come true? Thanks for these words of preparation! I do love the different names for the moon, Frost Moon… mmm… I was peeking ahead this year and found that this year there will be a Blue Moon too! How fantastic! I find this rhythm with the moon very peaceful. Take care!
I can’t believe it’s the time of the month again already, as someone with the flu sitting in a freezing house, I am going to look for cozy and comfy images. Some place to snuggle through the winter and get healthy again.
