Is it too late to join in?

  • It’s never to late to join. Even when the group is finished, you can use the prompts to guide you through the book at your own pace, if you like.

Do I have to have a blog?

  • Nope, you can participate however you like. You can simply read along, checking in with the prompts or thoughts for the week. You can read other participants’ thoughts and posts. But consider creating a blog so that you can share your thoughts and reactions each week. We’d love to hear from you. Many people decide start their first blog to participate in The Next Chapter.  It’s a great way to connect to a community and be sure you have something to write about.

Does it cost anything to join?

  • Participation is absolutely free other than the cost of the book, though you may also be able to get that at your local library.

How much time does it take?

  • It’s really up to you. Spend the amount of time that feels right for you. There are no “Next Chapter” police. This is meant to be a wonderful activity for you, so please be like Goldilocks and choose a pace that feels just right.

Do I have to visit everybody else’s blog?

  • One of the joys of The Next Chapter book blogging group is that there are no “have to’s.” If you’d like to visit people, to read their thoughts and perspectives, to make new friends and connections, that’s wonderful. Making friends is one of the great rewards of participating and blog visits and comments are always appreciated by participants. But please, never feel pressured to do more than feels good to you. Whatever feels good is perfect.
