What gifts do you wish to share?

You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together.

Wow. Double whammy of gifts and talents tonight. I must need to hear, eh?
THANK YOU, Jamie!

Thanks for being our wishcasting magician!

I once studied with a dance teacher, Deborah Hay, who used questions as Zen koans to be contemplated throughout the course of our movements. It kept reality fresh and the moment was more rich because we were mindfully saturated by nearly continuously pulling our awareness back to the present. Wishcasting is that same way for me… only the dance is my LIFE.

This prompt sent me off on a bit of a rant about how difficult it is for us to own our gifts. Me included. Grrr! Lol. Ultimately, I wish to share ALL of my gifts…which means I’ve got to find them, nurture them, own them and share them. Gulp. xx

Love this idea. It is very simple. It’s been so long since I’ve participated in exercises like this that stretch me to think positively! Thanks!

This was a great start to my day and really encouraged me to think about the gifts I have to offer the world. Thanks for sharing this exercise!

Have an amazing day!

Clearly, this is what my brain needed to get me moving. I’d been wondering this very thing for a week. Thanks!

What a great idea for a post and linky party! Thanks so much for hosting!
I love following my dreams and creating new things–it’s almost an addiction! But even more thrilling to me is helping my children and even Dear Hubby discover what there wishes are. My favorite way to create is write music and to design fabric art. To me, it almost feels like giving birth. I want to shout it to the world..I have a new song! And when I send my latest fabric art piece off to it’s new home, I feel as if one of my children had gone on to their ‘destiny’ in life. Just a little bit bittersweet.

The scariest thing I ever did was to start a ‘homemaking blog’. Wouldn’t that be boring? Would anybody read it? How do you blog anyway? Thanks to my friends Shona Cole, Shannon, and especially cheerleader Trudy, I was able to get my idea off the ground. It’s not a ‘home and garden blog’. It’s all about the art of homemaking..because it really can be that if you want it to be. Whether I’m talking about French quilting, kitchen testing crock-pot recipes, tablescapes, or sharing photos of the lovely woods our home is nestled in..

or even just chatting about issues of the heart on my ‘Tuesday Tea’ party…it’s finally becoming what I’d hoped..a chance to cheer on women everywhere as they develop their gifts and to encourage them to do the same for their families. :o)

What a lovely idea for a linky party! Do have a great day..and I hope all of your wishes come true!

Another great question! I usually go so inward on these questions and this was a nice break from that in a way.

Thank you, as always!

I’ve been in bed sick all day today but managed to get in front of the laptop to wish for as many friends as I could and post my wish. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am always so happy when I can participate in Wishcasting Wednesday. You inspire me so much.

Thank you for letting me post… I know it is open, but, nonetheless thank you. Liz brought this to my attention, as something I may enjoy reading, and to perhaps contribute. Indeed, I enjoyed reading the posts, and I hope mine may be enjoyed.

In health,

Jeffers

Jamie it’s been so long since I’ve been here and it’s so lovely to be back. Thank you for prompting our wishes. This one was soooo apt as well. Looking forward to next week.
