What does the “soft animal of your body” wish for?
This week I wrote a post about the vulnerability of desire and invited us all to be a part of the “soft animal movement,” referencing the life-changing poem Wild Geese by Mary Oliver. For this week’s wish, allow yourself to love what you love and invite it in.
You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together. Let the magic begin!

Whew! This one is intense for me. I think I will be asking myself this one often!

Thank you so much for your weekly prompts, they are so inspirational!
As always, Jamie, thank you…and boy, do you have such incredible timing. Thank you. :)
My wish starts with a confession. LOL.
I’ve rarely ever thought about what my soft animal loves until I read the poem and your other post. This was a great exercise for me. Very liberating to admit and embrace the fact that I do have material wants.
Big hugs for bringing this one into my consciousness. Thank you!
Loved the poem. Thanks.
Am now off to find a Mary Oliver book, I need to read more:)
