Wishcasting Wednesday: What does the soft animal of your body wish for?

What does the “soft animal of your body” wish for?

This week I wrote a post about the vulnerability of desire and invited us all to be a part of the “soft animal movement,” referencing the life-changing poem Wild Geese by Mary Oliver.  For this week’s wish, allow yourself to love what you love and invite it in.

You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together. Let the magic begin!

My wish starts with a confession. LOL.

I’ve rarely ever thought about what my soft animal loves until I read the poem and your other post. This was a great exercise for me. Very liberating to admit and embrace the fact that I do have material wants.
