Who do you wish to have tea with?

You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together.

I love tea, and the beauty of sitting quietly with my tea. Thank you for this prompt. Time to get out the tea again now that it is getting cool outside. :)

I also love tea!! – I also enjoyed this prompt!
My daughter’s European trained MD recommends about a quart of green tea daily for health – I’m fond of herb teas, green & rooibos. And tea parties are so much fun!
Come see who I invited!

Seeing all these comments this morning made me think – I’d love to have a big circle of tea and cookies with all of you! I’ll bring the shortbreads :)

I love tea and need to start using my tea set again now instead of waiting to use it. Thank you for this. I think I will make time for some tea with my husband after the kiddos go to bed!

It struck me all the emotions that occurred with such a thing as “to have tea with” someone. There’s something so sacredly communal and communicative about the act of sharing a cup of tea, or coffee… truly like “breaking bread” and coming together. Maybe more of our world’s politicians should try having tea together instead of grumpily shaking fists behind podiums. Lovely prompt! My first wishcast! Thank you Jamie! <3

Thank you so much, jamie, for this prompt.
I think because of this I will take my squirrelly daughter out for tea and … donuts this afternoon… :)
