What do you wish for the world?

You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together. Let the magic begin!

This prompt was difficult. I found myself wanting to stay positive…and balancing that with needing to be REAL. In the end, I think I struck a balance.

I can understand why you decided to shift a bit from us on personal levels to us as a whole.

I don’t have time to write a post this morning, but I wish for each of you, and for the world, unconditional love. I’m sending prayers to each of you today.

Jane, I’m glad you found a way to still wish. As you wish for the world, so I wish for you also!

So enjoyed this shift in perspective. Happy Wishing all!

I don’t have a blog, but what i wish for the world is peaceful, tender caring….start at home wherever that is toward my/your neighbour!
“As I wish for the world, so I wish for you also!”

Just did my first wishcasting wednesday post and I am in love with how this generates good energy. Just what my spirit ordered. :) “As I wish for the world, so I wish for you also”

This felt like such a powerful and perfectly-timed prompt – thank you! It feels especially important to be gathering our collective energies and wishing together.

Jamie Ridler March 16, 2011 at 12:49 pm

JK, as you wish for the world, so I wish for it also. Thank you for sharing your wish here.

Jamie Ridler March 16, 2011 at 12:51 pm

Welcome to the Wishcasting Circle, Jen! I’m so glad you are here and participating.

Deborah, thank you. It really does feel like just the right itme to be bringing our energies together to wish.

(Btw, I’ve been working on resolving my “nested comments” situation. Cross your fingers for me!)

While waiting for profound inspiration to strike, the loving kindness meditation popped into my mind:

May the world be filled with loving kindness
May the world be well
May the world be peaceful and at ease
May the world be happy
May the world be free of suffering

That says it all I think! x

Love todays prompt!

This was a bit difficult for me as I always worry that I come across as though my wish is equal with blaming someone else for things. My own issues to work through, so I hope I was able to get my wish across.

Thank you as always!

Jamie, as we all wish for the world, I too will carry these thoughts and wishes aswell. What an awsome group and thank you for guiding us.

so happy that i have found this space.
you are a jewel jamie ridler.

Loving kindness seems so right. I join in that affirmation.

Kelly, I’m so glad we’ve connected. Your words lit up my afternoon.

Amy Lee March 16, 2011 at 4:41 pm

@Donnaonthebeach I love that affirmation. Thank you!

@Jamie Thank you for this challenge. I was hesitant to express my feelings on this issue… thinking it may hurt too much and be too hard to gather my thoughts around it. But I stretched and I feel really good to be able speaking hope and peace into the world during this time. Thank you :)

Perfect question with devastation happening in Japan…showing us how precious life is and all for which we have to be grateful.

So I am a student at Rutgers University. Some of my classmates are in Nicaragua currently. Simply put, I wish the world understanding, but I will make a point to read all of yours, and write my own… but for now, I think-if you get the chance-you should read the blog of the students on this trip right now. The latest blog post made me cry.

Apologies… apparently my Mac preloaded the webpage for my previous post. #37 corresponds to today’s post.
