What Rules Do You Wish to Make or Break?

You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together.

Now I should have known this wish would evoke such an energetic response! We’ve got lots of rebels in the house!

And if some of you were nervous about sharing your rule-breaking rebellion, make your wish in your own journal or simply in your own heart. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.

Wow, that was quite the floodgate that opened! I couldn’t write fast enough to catch all the thoughts that poured through my head when I read this week’s prompt. I knew I finally had to jump in on Wishcasting Wednesday since I had such a strong response. Thanks for the question! I didn’t even know I had quite so many hang-ups and rules about my body–I’m breaking them!

Thank you I love the idea of wish casting. I am wishing for everyone’s wish to come true.

I want to break the unspoken rule that once you’re in your late 30′s (as i am) some sort of settling down must occur. I feel more active than ever, and there are more and more things I want to do. I want to rock this life :-).

Kara aka Mother Henna May 6, 2010 at 3:37 pm

OOP, I managed to miss Wishcast Wednesday again :)

Here’s to all your wishes… as you each wish for yourselves, I so wish for you, too — or something even better than you have even dreamed up yet!!!

As to my rules wish: I just wanna break ALLLLLLLL the rules! (It’s the indie rock GRRRRRRL in me) :p

Sending Reiki to all Wishcasters!

Wishing for peace on earth. Gotta say it. Wishing for every woman to feel safe, comfortable, happy, gloriously alive and wonderfully free in her own damned skin. Ignore culture, society, even church or family if they tell you to live in a box. There are no boxes – only the ones we choose to stay in. Gulping in huge breaths of oxygen I too am gonna listen to that little voice. Awesome post today Cyndi, I swear we have a hive mind going back and forth here. God bless to all (and Goddess too).

I thought I might never get to respond to this prompt AND I am so grateful I was tenacious and stuck with it. BRAVA!!
