I started taking walks almost every day as well but I listen to music. I am not sure I would like audio books. I should listen to some podcasts :) Don’t you feel a little funny taking pictures of other people’s houses/yards? I find some interesting things on my walks but I’m afraid people will think I’m a stalker. Since I started working at Michaels though, I haven’t taken many walks because I am getting in a lot of steps there. Not the same I know but I have to get in a different work/life rhythm since this is the first time I’ve worked outside the house in 17 years!

Congratulations on the job, fellow walker!! What a big shift. I hope it feels good.

You know, I’ve never felt uncomfortable at all taking pictures of people’s flowers or cats or Halloween displays. More often, someone comes up to me and I just tell them I found their flowers beautiful or their cat adorable and then they usually smile and we chat for a bit.

Walking and reading, two of my favorite activities. Overdrive is the best. I always have at least one book borrowed and ready to read. Brene Brown’s book sounds interesting. Thanks Jamie for your inspiration.
