What a gift it is when great artists invite us into the process, showing us what it means to learn, to work, to grow, to practice their particular art. I am spellbound by moments like this masterclass with Mark Elder working with and mezzo-soprano Rachel Kelly on how to sing Rossini using The Barber of Seville. There is so much here about rhythm, language and how artists work towards performance.
On the New Moon, I began a new blog series: 40 Days of Beauty, Goodness & Love, little moments of light to get us through a difficult time. If you get solace, peace and inspiration from this, please share with others who need the same.
