Ooooh, I miss Toronto.
I miss Toronto.
I MISS Toronto.
Did I mention how much I miss Toronto????? Most of the time I’m okay with living on the west coast, but then I’ll see something like this & remember all the times I strolled along the Boardwalk, especially those first few days of early spring when the wind coming off the lake is SO cold but you can smell spring and everyone’s half-crazed with the promise of it, and I just want to pack up the cats & everything I own and come back . . .
Everyone out here yaps on & on about the scenery & the climate (both wonderful, & I’m so over it), but scenery & weather can’t make up for the energy that Toronto has. I’m starting to think it’s time . . .
Oh, Susann, I’m just delighted I could give you this visit to Toronto. You know, when you were describing the first few days of spring, I was like, “Yes! That’s exactly it. Exactly!” I love that we could share the day in that way :)
Susann says:
Oooph. I was so self-absorbed I forgot to add how I loved the photos! LOL! And how wise you are in knowing when you need a mini-vacation and then are smart enough to not just contemplate the idea, but actually DO it. Isn’t it amazing how just a few hours wandering around with no to-dos heals & renews & re-energizes body, spirit, soul & mind? In fact, I’m being inspired to take the rest of today off . . . .
Totally agree with Susann about taking the “Me” days. I used to call it, being on “John” time. Glad you took a day for yourself. I am constantly amazed, and sometimes overwhelmed, at how much you do, and plan to do. I don’t know how you do it all… Love the photos that you took! We had our very first “warm-ish” day today. Almost 68 outside and it’s been a long time since it’s been that warm here.

Thank you so much, John! I bet you could use a “John” day too!
